The Saint Must Walk Alone

The Above YouTube Audio Book is a recording by an anonymous narrator from one of many A.W. Tozer's written sermons to the body of Christ.

He seems to be saying that a deep relationship with Christ can mean a lonely life.

However, upon further reflection I have found his message to mean that the deeper we strive in the spirit to know God, the lonelier we may become when trying to share that type of experience with others.

I do not believe he's saying we will/would become a lonely person.

We may still have plenty of friends, family and church fellowships that can yield a welcomed life in Christ. It's merely pointing out that the inner experiences of our relationship with God Almighty might most often only be inacted with Him.

Either way it is a goal ( to know Him intimatley ) worth striving for.
