Don't Be A Wisenheimer

When studying the bible be careful you don't learn too much!

If your not careful you can unknowingly start to depend on your own knowledge and no longer remain teachable by depending on the Holy Spirit as your teacher. Worse you may even slip into applying your own interpretations of scripture.

LOOKING FORWARD

If we say we believe in an eternity with Jesus Christ, then how can we not be
LOOKING FORWARD
to the day we get there through our death here in this life?

Eternal Assurance

If there was noting we did to gain salvation ( it is a gift from God ) then there is nothing you can do to lose it. We obtained salvation by Receiving Jesus so we can only give it up by rejecting Him.

What Is A Disciple Of Jesus?

Like allot of english words used here in the west, they tend to get watered down (overused) and/or slightly skewed from their original meanings by social misuse.

In our everyday social lives a misused meaning of a word or words may not matter much but when it comes to receiving a more precise understanding of God's holy word, well it's quite important to be accurate with the words we use to define the scriptural meanings therein. Along with the spiritual pronouncement of the letter the correct use of each word is significant to understanding the message being given. After years of bible study and allowing scripture to interpret scripture more and more over accepting men and commentaries telling me what scripture means, i've come to believe that the word disciple just may be one of those words.
